In actual work, the terminal box can be used as an indoor joint box, but the joint box is rarely used as a terminal box for different purposes.
1. The transfer box can be divided into optical cable transfer box and cable transfer box. They are all used for wiring at the front end of the user.
2. The connection box generally refers to the optical cable connection box, also called the cable connection box. In some places, especially the radio and television system, it is also called the optical connection package. Its function is to protect the fiber optic cable connector from external damage. The distribution frame is also divided into optical cable distribution frame and cable distribution frame, which also acts like a transfer box, but it is used in the operator's computer room.
Basic functions of fiber optic terminal box
As the terminal equipment of the optical cable line, the optical fiber terminal box should have four basic functions.
① Fixing function After the optical cable enters the rack, the outer sheath and strengthening core must be mechanically fixed, the ground wire protection component should be installed, the end protection treatment should be carried out, and the optical fibers should be grouped and protected.
②Fusing function After the optical fiber drawn from the optical cable is fused with the tail cable, the redundant optical fiber is coiled and stored, and the fusion joint is protected.
③Deployment function Insert the connector on the tail cable into the adapter, and realize the optical connection with the optical connector on the other side of the adapter. Adapters and connectors should be able to be plugged and pulled flexibly; the optical path can be freely deployed and tested.
④Storage function Provide storage for various cross-connected optical cables between racks, so that they can be placed neatly and orderly. There should be a proper space and method in the optical fiber terminal box, so that the routing of this part of the optical connection line is clear, easy to adjust, and can meet the requirements of the minimum bending radius. With the development of optical fiber network, the existing functions of optical fiber terminal box can no longer meet many new requirements. Some manufacturers directly add some optical fiber network components such as optical splitters, wavelength division multiplexers and optical switches to the optical fiber terminal box.
ODF unit box
ODF unit box is a product designed with high density and large capacity. It has the characteristics of beautiful appearance, reasonable distribution, easy to find, easy to manage, easy to install and good operability. The ODF unit box has the functions of fixing and protecting optical cables, terminating optical cables, adjusting wires, and protecting optical fiber cores and pigtails.
1. The standard unit structure size is 19 inches wide, which can be installed in the distribution frame cabinet or wall-mounted.
2. The structural parts with excellent workmanship adopt thickened galvanized passivation treatment cold-rolled steel plate and surface spraying process, and the optical fiber distribution plate is made of plastic doped with flame-retardant materials
The material is lightweight, flexible, and durable. The design of the large-diameter coiled ring keeps the curvature radius of the pigtail and the jumper above 40mm at each place.
3. It can be assembled into an optical fiber distribution frame alone, or it can be installed together with a digital distribution unit and an audio distribution unit in a cabinet frame to form an integrated distribution frame.
It has the functions of introducing, fixing and protecting the optical cable, welding the terminal of the optical cable and the pigtail, adjusting the line, storing and protecting the core and pigtail of the jumper fiber storage cable, etc.
4. The wiring box adopts a drawer structure, which can be drawn out during operation and put back after completion. There is an optical cable introduction hole at the rear of the chassis and the fixed module is fixed and then introduced into the distribution box through the optical cable coiling frame;
5. The structure of the optical fiber distribution tray is an openable upper and lower layer structure: open the upper layer, connect the pigtail fiber optic connector with the lower layer adapter, then coil along the cable rack and wind through the outlet hole to the upper layer, then close the upper layer, the pigtail head and the lead-in After the fiber core of the optical cable is fused, fix the melting point in the slot and stick it, that is, the operation is completed, and the distribution plate can be inserted into the corresponding layer;
6. The fiber jumper storage disk is located under the distribution box. Since each functional module can be operated separately, it is flexible and convenient to use.
