ODF optical distribution frame

ODF frame is ODF optical fiber distribution frame, the main functional requirements of ODF optical fiber distribution frame:

1. Optical cable fixed protection function. There should be optical cable introduction, fixing and protection devices. The device guides the optical cable and fixes it on the rack to protect the optical cable and the fiber core in the cable from damage. The metal part of the optical cable is insulated from the metal frame, and the fixed metal sheath and strengthening core of the optical cable should be reliably connected to the high-voltage protective grounding device.

2. Optical fiber termination function. There shall be a fiber optic termination device. The device is convenient for operation, construction, installation and maintenance of optical fiber core and pigtail connection. It can fix and protect the connector to be straight without displacement, avoid the influence of external force, and ensure that the coiled optical fiber core and pigtail are not damaged.

3. Jumper function. Through the optical fiber jumper connector plug, the number of cores in the optical cable can be quickly and conveniently scheduled, and the routing order of the optical transmission system can be changed.

4. The protection function of fiber core and pigtail. After the optical cable is stripped, a protective device is provided on the fiber core, and a termination device is provided on the introduced optical fiber after fixing.

5. Capacity. The capacity of each rack and unit (determined by the number of adapters) should be stipulated in the product enterprise standard, and the optical fiber terminal equipment, optical storage equipment, and optical fiber connection distribution equipment should be configured in a complete set within the full capacity range.

6. Identity record function. Racks and units should have complete identification and recording devices to facilitate the identification of fiber core numbers or transmission path sequences, and the recording devices should be easy to modify and replace.

7.Fiber storage function. There should be enough space in the rack and unit to store the remaining fibers.
