Polarity Method A – Duplex Link (10G)
1. Applicable to single-mode and multi-mode fibers.
2. Use the adapter to connect the array connectors.
3. Links contain Type A array MPO jumpers (top to bottom).
4. Links contain Type A MPO modules that are configured from key up to down.
5. The module is installed in a high-density MPO patch panel.
6. Use only one module type at both ends.
7. This is the default standard configuration we provide.
8. One end of the duplex fiber link requires a standard AB-LC duplex patch cord, and the other end requires an AA-LC patch cord.
9. To simplify deployment, LC duplex jumpers with reversible polarity are recommended, which allows the user to easily flip the pair in one of the LC duplex connectors.

Polar Method A – Parallel Optics (40G and 100G)
1. Compatible with 40G and 100G standards.
2. Up key to down adapter required for pairing connection between MPO jumpers (Type A).
3. Use the bulkhead adapter in the MPO patch panel instead of the MPO jumper to the LC breakout module.
4. Each end of the link must use one Type A and one Type B array cord to connect to the active device.

Polarity Method B – Duplex Link (10G)
1. For multi-mode only. Not suitable for single-mode systems.
2. The paired connection is by pressing the up key up or down key down on the other end.
3. Use type B array jumpers (top to bottom).
4. Each end requires 2 different MPO modules – B1 and B2.
5. Use standard AB LC duplex patch cords on both ends.

Polar Method B – Parallel Optics (40G and 100G)
1. Use MPO Type B jumpers and adapter spacers throughout the link.
2. Use the MPO bulkhead adapter in the patch panel instead of the MTP®/MPO to LC breakout module.
3. Simple deployment method for 40G and 100G systems.
4. Key-to-key positioning throughout the link ensures correct polarity and alignment.
5. Use B-type array trunk jumpers (top to bottom).
