Do not twist fiber optic cables. When connecting the optical fiber cable, pay attention that the optical connector should be inserted into the optical connector socket vertically, and do not have an inclined angle. Also, when the optical connector is connected, all the blue and gray parts should be inserted into the optical socket.
When there is a "fiber failure", the following work should be done:
1. Check whether the power supply of the power module is normal (when normal, the L1 green indicator light is on);
2. Check whether the optical fiber connector of the power module and the controller is off;
3. Whether the optical fiber is broken or leaked;
4. Whether the optical fiber is blinded by dust;
5. When the unit control board and optical fiber board are damaged, the optical fiber failure is reported;
6. Sometimes the inverter will report a unit optical fiber communication failure when the power is off, which is a normal phenomenon and can be reset directly.
Field experience
1. The output of the module power supply (HAS5-5-W) on the unit control board is abnormal or the input terminals of other power supply modules are short-circuited (it may occur when the inverter is powered on, in standby, or during operation).
2. The miniaturized optical fiber is faulty; the cause of the fault: the anti-interference performance of the unit control board is poor. Solution: install a magnetic ring on the drive line.
3. Optical fiber failure caused by discrete devices;
Discrete components: CPLD, crystal oscillator, fiber holder (among others)
Fault stage: When the device is powered on, the fiber fault can be reported
Treatment method: replace the unit control board level on site.
4. Corrosion of optical fiber seat;
The electrolytic capacitor of the module burst, but there is no damage to the grading resistance, sometimes optical fiber failure, and sometimes driving failure. The main feature is that the optical fiber seat of the unit control board is blurred.
5. Optical fiber failure caused by other types.
Failure point:
(1) Small transformer burnt out;
(2) The fuse is loose;
(3) The rectifier bridge is on fire;
(4) The optical fiber is retracted;
(5) The electrolytic capacitor sprays liquid.
Fiber Considerations
The bending radius of the connecting part between the optical connector and the optical fiber cable should not be less than 30 mm, which is the minimum allowable bending radius.
Avoid applying a pulling force of 80N (8.2kgf) or more to the fiber optic cable. Even a momentary out-of-range pulling force can cause permanent damage to the fiber.
Do not twist fiber optic cables.

During installation, avoid situations that may cause twisting of the fiber optic cables.
