Fiber optic distribution box is a compact fiber optic cable management product for FTTx (including FTTH, FTTB, etc.) systems. Optical fiber distribution boxes are often divided into rack-mounted and wall-mounted according to the installation method.

The Rack Mount Fiber Distribution Box is a 19 inch standard box that is installed inside a cabinet for rack mount fiber optic cable management panels. Typical rack mount fiber enclosures are available in 12 or 24 port, 36 port, 48 port and 96 port fiber optic enclosures. The rack-mounted optical fiber distribution box is made of cold-rolled steel plate, and the shell is treated with electrostatic spraying. Typically SC, LC, FC or ST adapters are used.

According to the shell material, it can be divided into ABS plastic shell and metal shell. According to the connection mode of the optical cable, it can be divided into straight-through type and branch type.
